Hello there, fellow fashion aficionados! ​

My name is Orla.

I lived in Bermuda and Jersey for almost 12 years having relocated back to the Emerald Isle in 2019 with my husband, daughter and cat.

I setup a fashion business in the past whilst abroad. This ignited the creative fire in my belly and since moving back I wanted to create an outlet where I could share my ideas and creativity with you as I feel it's my souls purpose. You know when you have a niggling feeling that your calling in life is <insert calling here> and you can't stop thinking about it over and over, well, that's how UniqueisChic was born. I really hope you enjoy my blog and come along on this journey with me.

 

My passion for fashion began at a very young age and has never stopped. I've done plenty of overtime and crappy jobs just so I could buy the latest fashion item I was obsessing over. I especially love vintage and colourful clothes. I'm happy to spend a good portion of my life trawling through vintage shops. I'm a firm believer that colours can change your mood.  I believe it so much that I went off and became a  certified Colour Therapist, so there now! I'm your resident colour whisperer, on a mission to prove that style therapy is the best remedy for a monochrome world. I hope you enjoy and I can at least inject some colour and fashion into your day dahhling.​
